The ice crunched softly as she took her first tentative steps. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rosie paused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was definitely something new, and unexpectedly cold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking back for reassurance from her human, Rosie then did as many dogs do – she bent forward and tested to see whether this funny white stuff was edible!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was the start to Rosie\u2019s first visit to the snow of Dinner Plain in the Victoria Alps!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A gorgeous five month old Border Collie puppy, Rosie took to it with the bucket loads of energy and enthusiasm that is expected of a puppy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Racing across the firm snow, sliding along the icy snow, jumping into the soft snow and otherwise frolicking were high on her list of to-do\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can\u2019t help but wish that the Australian snow season was a little longer! I could do this every weekend!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
