{"id":6262,"date":"2012-11-27T08:00:21","date_gmt":"2012-11-26T21:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.akemiphotography.com.au\/?p=6262"},"modified":"2024-01-18T14:24:36","modified_gmt":"2024-01-18T03:24:36","slug":"keikos-first-trip-to-the-beach-dog-photography","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/puppytales.com.au\/keikos-first-trip-to-the-beach-dog-photography\/","title":{"rendered":"Keiko&#8217;s First Trip to the Beach ~ Dog Photography"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Who would like to see some dog photography of my favourite dog in the whole world&#8230;? &nbsp;Of course, that&#8217;s Keiko and these photos of him during his first beach are far tooooooo adorable not to share!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, Sam had (finally) finished his exams and we decided a couple of days away together was definitely in order. &nbsp;Some time to unwind and relax together after a busy couple of months. &nbsp;Much to Sam&#8217;s school boy excitement we decided to pack our tent, airbed and sleeping bags. &nbsp;Yep, we were camping! While away we took Keiko to the off leash dog area for his first trip to the beach and it was fabulous to watch him experience it. &nbsp;To start with Sam took him for a little run along the beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/puppytales.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Keiko-at-the-Beach-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6264\" title=\"Keiko at the Beach-1\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I think I could watch Keiko run for hours on end &#8211; the absolute doggy enjoyment on his face is just so captivating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/puppytales.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Keiko-at-the-Beach-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6265\" title=\"Keiko at the Beach-2\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>So running in the sand got an immediate tick of approval from Keiko. &nbsp;That funny water stuff though &#8211; he was not so sure about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/puppytales.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Keiko-at-the-Beach-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6266\" title=\"Keiko at the Beach-3\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A little discussion and encouragement from Sam to give it a go, but&#8230;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/puppytales.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Keiko-at-the-Beach-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6267\" title=\"Keiko at the Beach-4\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>in the end, it was retrieving a stick that got him into the small pool of beach water!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/puppytales.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Keiko-at-the-Beach-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6268\" title=\"Keiko at the Beach-5\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The bigger surf of the beach was definitely going to take a whole lot more convincing! &nbsp;I can only imagine what Keiko was thinking but for a first time, I imagine the waves are noisy and the white foam is confusing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/puppytales.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Keiko-at-the-Beach-6.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6269\" title=\"Keiko at the Beach-6\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/puppytales.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Keiko-at-the-Beach-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6270\" title=\"Keiko at the Beach-7\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>And this was as far into the Ocean as Keiko got! A little, tiny touch on his front feet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/puppytales.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Keiko-at-the-Beach-8.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6271\" title=\"Keiko at the Beach-8\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>All in all a fabulous afternoon at the beach for all of and a very tired little man for the rest of the evening!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/puppytales.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/Keiko-at-the-Beach-9.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6272\" title=\"Keiko at the Beach-9\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In case you&#8217;re wondering we camped at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bestfriend.net.au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Best Friends Pet Retreat<\/a> in Tarra Valley. &nbsp;I could not recommend them highly enough for those wanting a super dog friendly get away only a couple of hours outside of Melbourne. &nbsp;Best Friends Pet Retreat is geared specifically for dog lovers from the six off leash areas to the lead tie points everywhere to the free dog hydro bath. &nbsp;They are also located in a simply beautiful and relaxing area.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Who would like to see some dog photography of my favourite dog in the whole world&#8230;? &nbsp;Of course, that&#8217;s Keiko and these photos of him during his first beach are far tooooooo adorable not to share!
